The Web We Weave was created in 2016. As I gaze into this canvas, I am struck by its’ clear story. I see a staircase on the left, emerging from the volcanic darkness. I am emerging, like Persephone, from Hades. My pain and loss are parting, almost separating, to reveal the grief work I have walked through, complex, yet simple, like a spiders’ silken rope, delicate and fierce.
